Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has commented on Danny Rose’s future in North London at today’s press conference.
Mourinho was meeting the media via video conferencing ahead of the visit of Everton on Sunday and was asked about current situation of his left-back.
Rose has been linked with a move to Serie A strugglers Genoa with both clubs said to be in discussion over a possible transfer to Italy (Sky Sports).
Mourinho has admitted that Genoa will be getting a good player if they manage to land the England international after confirming that he is not in his plans and can leave the club.
The former Leeds United player is in the last twelve months of his contract at Tottenham and spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United.
Mourinho’s comments were confirmed by journalists Jonathan Veal and Alasdair Gold who were part of the press conference this afternoon.

Mourinho: "If Genoa gets Danny Rose I think they get a good player." He also adds: "We've got Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon an investment that we want to improve, so it will be tough for him. If he goes to Genoa and Serie A then that's very good for him."
