Evening Standard reporter Dan Kilpatrick took to Twitter last night to interact with our Twitter page to set the record straight about a transfer rumour involving Tottenham Hotspur.
It was reported on the Evening Standard’s live blog yesterday afternoon that Tottenham did not hold an interest in Beijing Guoan’s Kim Min-jae.
Kilpatrick replied to a Tweet which was put out by ourselves which stated the above viewpoint of the publication in relation to the transfer rumour and admitted that there is indeed interest from Spurs in the central defender but does not believe he has boarded a flight to London.
I believe there is definitely interest from Spurs. Something was erroneously put on our blog.

No, believe those reports weren’t true.

Replying to another Spurs fan, Kilpatrick revealed that he has asked for the content which dismisses Spurs’ interest on the live blog to be changed.
I’ve asked for it to be changed.

Credit must go to Dan for practically admitting on social media that there has been incorrect information added to their live blog and for acting to get the content removed.
This level of credibility is certainly appreciated by many Spurs fans and is refreshing to see.
