Leicester snub winger bid from Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur have had a bid rejected by Leicester City for winger Demarai Gray, report the Daily Mirror.

According to the report bids from Spurs and Bournemouth were both dismissed out of hand by the Foxes, who are now looking to improve his current £25,000-a-week contract.

Gray has been continually linked with a move to Spurs throughout the summer as the club look to improve on the quality of winger at the club.

With Erik Lamela still sidelined and N’Koudou failing to make an impact, we are desperate for some quality on the flanks.

Gray ‘s agents Luca Bascherini and Kenny Brady were seen at Leicester’s training ground on Tuesday afternoon for crunch talks to resolve the youngster ‘s future.

With just over 24 hours left of the transfer window, the pressure is on Levy and co to bring in some further quality in the final third of the pitch or it could be a long season for us.
