Lennon: The squad has gelled

Aaron Lennon feels that one of the main Tottenham’s early success this season is down to the togetherness in the squad.

Lennon’s injury time strike against Birmingham City helped preserve Tottenham’s 100% start to the new campaign.

“Why has it all changed? I think the squad has just had more time to play together,” He told the Ham & High. “I think last year we were unlucky, a lot of people were writing us off but we weren’t actually playing that badly.

“Nothing was going our way whereas this year we’re scoring late goals and the team’s started off a lot better. I think it’s mainly down to everyone having a good pre-season together, and the squad has just gelled. We’ve been together a lot longer than we had before.”

  1. Bang on lennon is maturing before our eyes in africa he would now becalled a warrior at the top of is game and rising by the week.So fast we will have to watch him in slow motion like the defenders seem to be doing .When my fello spurs fans were moaning about is end product i never doubted him and new he would become what he is today one of the most exciting wingers in the modern game an more to come .My fingers hurt typing on all the blogs when .Hope defoe is keeping him away from the dump truck roony and gerrard .One thing Harry needs to do quicker is change things if the dont look to be working and off hudds at the back and crouch on that way we would still have hudds delivery to big birds head .COYS
