    • I'm sure you'll put all your efforts into doing that — seeing as you have nothing else to play for. Thought the gooners might have stayed quiet for a little longer — I would, if my team had just been beaten… outplayed… erm, what's the word I'm really looking for? Humilated, by one player in front of the entire tv watching world:) Granted, you'll finish higher than us this year (maybe even next) but for a team that brags so much, you're trophy cabinet has seen less action than ours in the last four and half years, and in 20 years time — that's all anyone will remember :) Will be interesting to see who you get to replace Fabregas when he leaves in the summer.

      • by the way, i realise arsenal have won more in overall history — i was making point that they are heading towards their fifth consecutive trophyless season. great manager, great stadium, great team — no trophies??? spurs are heading upwards — you guys have stalled.

    • i'm pretty sure if you did some research you'd find Wenger didn't really want Bentley to leave and that, in fact, Bentley demanded the move to Blackburn. One of the reasons for the massive sell-on clause when he signed for Blackburn is because Wenger knew he would do well if he played week-in, week-out. I know that, and I'm not even an Arsenal fan. Then again, I spend time reading, watching, supporting my own team — not pissing about on other teams message boards.

I also know that an improvement on last season means we're heading upwards — in any language.
