Lord Sugar mocks Arsenal fan Piers Morgan over new Spurs stadium

Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to mock Arsenal’s stadium in a Tweet aimed at Piers Morgan.

Sugar’s comments come a day after Tottenham Hotspur held their first test event at their brand new 62,062 capacity seater stadium which is a state of the art facility.

Spurs have managed to retain the feel of White Hart Lane within their new ground and kept the seats relatively close to the playing surface for a modern stadium.

Distance from the pitch behind the goals:

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: 4.98m
Emirates: 13.5m
Wembley: 18m
London Stadium: 18m

The stadium also holds 62,062 supporters, compared to the 60,432 which Arsenal’s stadium can cater for.

Sugar wasted no time in trying to wind up Morgan, who is known for his support of Arsenal and pulls no punches of his hatred of Spurs on social media.

Even the most ardent Arsenal fan must admit that Daniel Levy has pulled off a masterclass with the new stadium which leaves the Emirates in its wake.
