Lord Sugar questions Tottenham on Twitter after Leicester loss

Lord Sugar has taken to Twitter to share his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester City.

Tottenham have now failed to win three consecutive away Premier League games when they were leading at half-time for the first time since March 2008.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side took the lead in the first half when Harry Kane managed to find the back of the net in superb fashion despite losing his balance in the penalty area.

After the break, Serge Aurier’s effort was cancelled by VAR for a marginal offside call against Heung-min Son in the build up which would have made the score 2-1.

Instead, it was another frustrating capitulation from Tottenham with the Foxes hitting back through Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison.

After the match, the former Spurs chairman questioned Tottenham’s inability to hold onto a lead whilst also suggesting that VAR was at fault.

Tottenham are back in action on Tuesday night for the Carabao Cup clash at Colchester.
