Lord Sugar wastes no time in mocking Piers Morgan over Arsenal’s bottled Champions League attempt

Lord Sugar has wasted no time in mocking Arsenal fan Piers Morgan following the Gunners 4-1 defeat in the Europa League final to Chelsea.

After bottling a top four finish in the Premier League this season, fifth-placed Arsenal’s only chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League was to win the final in Baku.

Instead, they were dismantled by Chelsea in the second half with former Gunner Olivier Giroud scoring the opening goal to rub more salt in the wound of the Woolwich.

Arsenal fans will now have to look forward to more Thursday night football next season with another Europa League campaign ahead of them where they will continue to battle the minnows of Europe while Spurs will once again play in European football’s most prestigious club competition.

Hopefully, Spurs can add to Arsenal’s misery by lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time in their history on Saturday evening in Madrid.
