Tottenham Hotspur finally got their revenge on Watford for inflicting our first defeat earlier this month by securing our place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

It took the lottery of a penalty shoot-out in order for us to come away from our temporary home of Stadium MK with a victory when it looked for large parts of the game that it wasn’t going to be our night.

It turned out to be a night to remember for the homecoming hero Dele Alli, who won us the penalty and then dusted himself off to level the score and also bagged the winning goal in the penalty shoot out.

A big credit must go out to Paulo Gazzaniga once again for showing his nerve in the spot kicks by saving two of the Hornets efforts.
