Michel Vorm sends classy message to Spurs fans and staff on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed earlier this afternoon that Michel Vorm had left the club following the expiration of his contract.

The 35-year-old has since taken to Twitter to send a classy message to everyone associated with the football club ranging from the supporters to multiple people within the North London operation offering his thanks for an ‘amazing experience’.

He also singled out the club’s goalkeeping coach Toni Jiminez for special praise with the pair enjoying a healthy working relationship.

Vorm featured 45 times for Spurs during his five years at the club following his move from Swansea City with him appearing more often in cup competitions but has more recently dropped down the pecking order at the expense of Paulo Gazzaniga.

Before signing off, Vorm believes that Spurs are now on the verge of something special and is proud to have seen the progression of the club during his time in lilywhite.

Spurs also confirmed the departures of development squad players Dylan Duncan, Charlie Freeman, Tom Glover, Connor Ogilvie and Jamie Reynolds.
