Midfielder sends heartfelt message after leaving Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur concluded their summer transfer activity today when the window closed until January 1st.

While the focus among Spurs fans was predominantly on incoming arrivals along with the ongoing saga surrounding Paulo Dybala (BBC), one player did leave the club on a permanent transfer.

Midfielder Josh Onomah, who had come up through the academy ranks at Tottenham swapped North London for Craven Cottage when he made the trip south as part of the deal which brought Ryan Sessegnon to the Champions League finalists (Fulham official).

After completing his transfer, Onomah took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message showing his appreciation to Tottenham along with the fans whilst also posting photos of himself as a youngster alongside Dimitar Berbatov together with a picture of him in action for the club.

It was a classy gesture from Onomah, considering he hasn’t been in the first-team picture for a couple of seasons.
