Mixed news on Kane and Wanyama ahead of Swansea

Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that Harry Kane is currently suffering from illness ahead of the Premier League visit to Swansea City.

The in-form Spurs striker finished 2017 with 39 Premier League goals and will be desperate to continue his goalscoring streak against the Welsh strugglers. Kane has already scored an impressive 18 Premier League goals this season, gone are the days when we would cry out for a ’20 goal a season forward’.

Elsewhere, Spurs have confirmed that midfielder Victor Wanyama has returned to full training with the first team and could be included in the squad. The midfielder has not featured since the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Wembley in August.

Toby Alderweireld is still sidelined with the hamstring injury he picked up in the win against Real Madrid and continues his rehabilitation with outdoor work, he isn’t expected to be available until February at the very earliest.
