NBA all-star once again tweets one-word message after watching Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are known for having some supporters who are household names, from Lord Sugar to Adele.

However, one former basketballer who is a sporting icon in North America is known for his avid following of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Steve Nash is a former NBA superstar who played 18 seasons and was named as an NBA All-Star eight times and was a seven-time All-NBA selection.

His support of Tottenham has been passed from generation to generation. His father grew up a stones throw away from White Hart Lane and his grandfather was also a fan.

Nash followed up his Tweet during the 6-2 demolition of Everton on Sunday with an identical post after Harry Kane had once again found the back of the net on Boxing Day with a left-footed effort in the 5-0 win against Bournemouth at Wembley.

It seems that Nash is trying to start somewhat of a superstitious trend to see the prolific striker continue to fire Spurs to glory.
