‘No mood’ – Ben Jacobs reveals Daniel Levy’s view on Harry Kane’s future amid Bayern bid

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is in no mood to sell star striker Harry Kane during the current transfer window and certainly not for under £100million, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.

Earlier today, we relayed a report from The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who suggested that Bayern Munich had launched a formal offer of €70m (£60.1m) plus add-ons for Kane.

The journalist claimed that Thomas Tuchel was keen on signing a number nine this summer, with the Tottenham man said to be at the top of the German’s wishlist.

However, if Jacob’s latest update is to be believed, it appears the offer has been dismissed out of hand by Spurs.

Daniel Levy’s stance on selling Harry Kane

Jacobs took to social media to claim that Daniel Levy is in no mood to sell the 29-year-old and that the Tottenham chairman would not entertain any offers below £100m for the centre-forward.

He wrote on Twitter: “Spurs have rejected Bayern’s €70m plus add-ons offer for Harry Kane. Daniel Levy in no mood to sell, and certainly not for under £100m.”

Meanwhile, Alasdair Gold has shared on Twitter his understanding to explain that the North London club’s stance on Kane has not changed, with the club making it clear that they would reject any bid that comes their way.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is not surprising to hear that this offer has been turned down swiftly but if Bayern were to make an offer of around €100m (£86m), that might test Levy’s resolve.

The fact that the Bundesliga giants are bidding suggests that they have been informed by Kane’s entourage that he would be open to a switch to the Allianz Arena.
