It’s official – Moura is a Spurs player

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the siging of Lucas Moura after what feels like one of the longest transfer sagas in recent history.

The Brazilian international joins on a contract until 2022 from PSG for a fee in the region of £25million and will wear the number 27 shirt.

Moura has found regular first-team football hard to come by with the French giants and will link up with former team mate Serge Aurier at Tottenham and becomes our first and probably only signing of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old was expected at Spurs’ training ground on Wednesday morning after he passed the medical without problems.

Moura said: “I am so happy to be here.  It is a pleasure to play for Tottenham.  Come on you Spurs.”

He becomes our first January Deadline Day signing since 2015 when we bought Dele Alli from MK Dons, and what a deal that turned out to be.
