Christian Eriksen took to social media to thank his team-mate Hugo Lloris following Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 win against Leicester City.
The home side were leading 1-0 when referee Michael Oliver harshly pointed to the penalty spot after claiming that Jan Vertonghen had brought James Maddison down in the box.
Leicester brought on Jamie Vardy and the striker’s first touch was to take the penalty which Lloris superbly palmed away to maintain their advantage.
Despite Eriksen scoring a vital second goal, he thanked his skipper in what could be an important three points come the end of the season.
Here’s what he said on Instagram.
