Eric Dier and Dele Alli are known for their close friendship at Tottenham Hotspur with their continuous banter which has been well documented on social media and the official Spurs TV channel in the past.
Dier has taken to Instagram to post a photo of himself looking through a window at the Hotspur Way training ground with the caption ‘Separation anxiety @dele’.
The midfielder’s post is in relation to the news that Dele Alli will be sidelined until early March after suffering a left hamstring strain during the latter stages of Sunday’s 2-1 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Considering Dele’s recent form against Chelsea, he will be a huge loss for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this evening as they look to book their place in the Carabao Cup final.
