Jan Vertonghen has taken to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Michel Vorm.
Tottenham Hotspur announced on Monday that they had re-signed the 35-year-old after Hugo Lloris had suffered a dislocated elbow which is likely to keep him out of action for the remainder of the year.
The Dutchman’s contract had expired following the Champions League final loss to Liverpool and had not signed for another club which has allowed him to return to North London as a free agent outside of the transfer window.
Vorm will help to provide cover and competition for Paulo Gazzaniga who replaced Lloris between the sticks after he sustained the injury in the 3-0 defeat to Brighton.
