With Sky Sports reporting yesterday that Tottenham had agreed on a £12million deal with Club Brugge for Victor Wanyama, it certainly came as a surprise to have seen him photographed participating in the session.
Reading between the lines, maybe a deal for the Kenyan isn’t as far down the line as to what the media are leading us to believe.
The European transfer window closes on Monday, so while there is still time for the former Celtic and Southampton player to depart North London, the clock is certainly ticking.
Wanyama moved to Spurs for £11million from Southampton in 2016 and had an impressive first season at White Hart Lane before knee issues have caused him to miss significant game time (Telegraph).
