STAR PLAYER

Dele Alli: While the England man could have easily seen red for a silly kick-out in the early stages of this game, Alli was again impressive as he was the driving force in Pochettino’s altered line-up. He was lively and some flicks and tricks accompanied his ability to take control of proceedings.

MOMENT OF THE MATCH

Ben Davies: The award of a penalty, although not quite as debatable as that which gave Spurs the lead at Man City, was questionable as Davies charged into the box before going down under minimal contact, with Chadli obliging from the spot to open the scoring.

VIEW FROM THE BENCH

Pochettino made seven changes and will be happy to leave with a draw and an away goal, which he will fancy adding to in north London next week. Without the injured Lloris and with talisman Kane playing just over 20 minutes, it was a relatively good night for the Spurs boss.

MOAN OF THE MATCH

Could the petulance of Alli end up costing either club or country at some point soon? He may only be 20, but the obviously talented midfielder needs to eradicate that sort of thing from his game.

WHO’S UP NEXT

  1. sorry ladies and gentlemen but I think chadli is our weak link in our team or our club should of took him off straight swap for Kane and left son on when chadli plays I always feel we have only got 10 men he don't do enough he certainly ain't a forward

    • I can see where you're coming from. Chadli is not an out and out striker. He plays better just behind the main striker. He has improved a lot since last season, but at the same time I wouldn't be sorry to see him leave in the summer. For me he's just not consistent enough.
On the bright side, 1-1 is a good result away from home. Let's finish the job at The Lane. COYS.

  3. What do you mean you can't see where I'm coming from you said it in your sentence you wouldn't be sorry to see chadli go that is what I mean he's not up to our standard we should of sold him with the rest of the not so magnificent seven I'm sorry I just don't rate him

  4. He is Belgian that means he plays for a national team rated best in the world by FIFA, the fact that you don’t acknowledge what he brings to the team just means you don’t know anything about football and so don’t need to make silly comments,

  5. He's an interesting player. He's got the height, physique, skills and shot to be a top player. But he lacks the energy & dynamism that Kane has so he doesn't influence the game as much. If he can develop those things then he's definitely worth keeping
