PLAYER RATINGS: Manchester United 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Biggest win at Old Trafford for 46 years. A win away against the ‘top six’. Second in the table, 100% record. It’s a great feeling. Well done, to Poch and all the players.

Yes, they had to dig deep in the first half when United, as of old, swarmed all over them but they had, as a team, resilience and worked through it in the second to make United seem confused and toothless. They also had one player, someone they’ve not had at Old Trafford before, to make the difference in Lucas Moura.

Here are our ratings.

Spurs were under pressure in the first half and he and Alderweireld seemed to be in a process of regaining their understanding. On one occasion Lukaku found in all too easy to get between them. Throughout that difficult first period, Vertonghen led by example with his personal defending, tackling and closing down.
