Tottenham faltered to their second straight Premier League defeat this season with a 2-1 loss to Liverpool today.

Liverpool maintained their 100% win record after five games, with Spurs now sitting six points behind the Reds and Chelsea.

Another sub-par performance filled with sloppiness, mistakes and fatigue plagued the Wembley pitch today, with very few players doing themselves justice through the 90 minutes.

Much like Lamela, Sonny committed men once he entered the pitch to rapturous applause. A very promising cameo for his first game back, and he should have been rewarded with a penalty in the final minute, giving Spurs a chance to draw level.
