Hugo was outstanding today, pulling off numerous class saves to keep the West Ham front line at way. His two best stops both came from Arnautovic shots, as he tipped one over the bar and got down low to tip another round the post. A solid afternoon for Lloris.

Tottenham Hotspur edged today’s London derby, beating West Ham United 1-0 in an incredibly tight encounter.

There was very little between the two teams, but it’s Pochettino’s men who take all three points, propelling them up to level with Chelsea to third in the Premier League table.

The Hammers had ten corners and four shots on target, double the amount Spurs managed, but could just not find the finishing touches.

Erik Lamela scored the only goal with a neat header just before the break following some neat play and cross from Moussa Sissoko on the right flank. His cross found the head of Lamela and the Argentine made no mistake in what proved to be the matchwinner.

We take a look at the player ratings for today’s game.
