Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to keep pace with the race for a top-four finish this season when unbeaten Manchester City are the visitors to Wembley this evening.
Mauricio Pochettino is boosted by the return of midfielder Dele Alli after nearly a month out with a hamstring injury, but will once again be without the defensive pair of Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen who are still sidelined with their respective injuries.
The Spurs boss will have to decide on how best to combat City’s free-flowing attacking style of play, which could be somewhat hampered on a battered Wembley pitch which is showing heavy signs of wear after three successive Sunday’s of NFL games.
Spurs have lost 10 of their last 15 Premier League games against Man City (W4 D1), having lost just three of their first 27 games against them in the competition.
