Real Madrid offer midfielder to Chelsea in order to land Spurs star

Real Madrid have offered Chelsea the opportunity to sign Isco in order to make room in their squad to sign Christian Eriksen.

The Express report that the Spanish giants are willing to let the midfielder leave the club for £44million in the January transfer window.

Eriksen revealed just days after the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool that he wanted to seek a new challenge away from North London whilst inviting contact from Reak Madrid (Ekstra Bladet).

A move to the Spanish capital failed to materialise, however, Eriksen finds himself in the lucrative position of being able to walk away from Tottenham at the end of the season as a free agent following the expiration of his contract.

Isco has failed to feature regularly in the starting eleven following the return of Zinedine Zidane and Chelsea are said to be considering a move with £150million ready to spend following the lifting of their transfer ban.

Isco has been linked with a move to Tottenham on a number of occasions (El Desmarque) but still remains at Los Blancos.
