Released Spurs striker joins Leicester City

Former Tottenham Hotspur development player Ryan Loft has signed a two-year deal with Leicester City.

The 20-year-old striker was released by the club early last month and has previously had loan spells with Braintree Town, Stevenage and Exeter City.

Loft has previously been described as a “little bit of a throwback to the Duncan Ferguson type striker” but did not fit the plans of Wayne Burnett.

He will become part of Leicester’s development squad for the season ahead, we wish Ryan the very best for the future.

Christian Maghoma, Luke O’Reilly, Joe Pritchard and Nick Tsaroulla following the conclusion of their contracts also left the club in the summer following the expiration of their contracts.
