Report: Details emerge as Postecoglou had transfer meeting with Levy this week

Football London have reported that Ange Postecoglou held a transfer meeting with Daniel Levy and other Tottenham staff members this week at Hotspur Way. 

Postecoglou doesn’t actually start work until July 1, but he took a short break from his summer vacation to visit Tottenham’s training ground this week.

After taking photos and giving interviews, the former Celtic boss was able to meet some of his new staff face-to-face, while he also held a meeting with Levy and co about the direction of the summer transfer window.

The report claims there has been a positive reaction from many within Spurs over the appointment of Postecoglou.

The recent transfer meeting allegedly included Postecoglou, Daniel Levy, Leonardo Gabbanini (chief scout), Ryan Mason (after he agreed to remain at Spurs), and others.

It is not revealed whether specific names were thrown around during the meeting, but the general direction of the transfer window was certainly discussed.

I’m sure this was just a very basic meeting about the kind of players and positions and profiles Spurs need to sign this summer. I imagine transfers will be a collaborative effort and Postecoglou will be on many a video call between now and July 1 about certain players and deals.
