Report: Everton looking to seal £10m deal for Spurs target in January

According to The Sun, Everton are readying a £10m offer for rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Arkadiusz Milik when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The Polish striker was linked with a move to Tottenham during the previous transfer window (CalicoMercato) but he ended up staying put at Napoli.

The North Londoners instead snapped up Carlos Vinicius from Benfica on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Milik has been frozen out of the first-team picture in Napoli this season, with reports from Italy claiming that the Serie A club are ready to sell him on a cut-price deal and that Spurs could make another approach in January (AreaNapoli).

However, The Sun reveal that Carlo Ancelotti wants to be reunited with the striker at Goodison Park as he seeks to bolster his striking options.

It is said that the Toffees believe a bid in the region of £10m could be enough to persuade Napoli to sell in January. The report also mentions that Everton face competition from Spurs and Inter Milan for Milik.
