Report explains how a number of Spurs players now feel about Antonio Conte

The Daily Mail have reported that a number of Tottenham Hotspur players have grown irritated towards head coach, Antonio Conte, this season in North London.

It is said that the manner and intensity in which Conte works, as well as his negative comments about the team to the press, have annoyed some within the Spurs dressing room.

The Mail go on to add that the ‘disconnect’ between squad and manager is worsening at Hotspur Way, with Conte’s outburst not going down well with ‘several players’.

This comes after Antonio Conte let loose in his post-match press conference following the 3-3 draw with Southampton, where he claimed that some of his players were lazy and selfish (Football London).

He even went as far as to say that Tottenham are a team of 11 individuals playing for themselves, rather than one team pulling in the same direction.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Daniel Levy will surely see the top four being at risk now, and that calls for a new manager bounce. It just depends on whether their new coach is available right now, or whether Ryan Mason would have to take charge. A mid-season change in formation could also be a sticking point.
