Report: Man United have two Spurs transfer targets on their radar

Manchester United are already reported to be making moves in the summer transfer market in their aim of recruiting a new right-back.

Sky Sports have already reported that the Old Trafford outfit have already had a £40million bid rejected for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka and are ready to increase their offer to the Eagles £60million valuation of the player.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been heavily linked with a move for the England U21 international in recent months (The Sun) but it appears to be United who are leading the race.

Ironically, Sky Sports are now claiming that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Norwich City’s Max Aaron’s as a potential alternative if they cannot agree a deal with Palace for Wan-Bisssaka.

Aarons is also said to be on Tottenham’s transfer radar (The Mirror) with Mauricio Pochettino looking to potentially change his options at right-back.

The Sun have previously reported that Pochettino is prepared to offload both Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier this summer with Wan-Bissaka and Aarons said to be the North London club’s preferred targets.

Opinion

If Spurs are serious about signing either Wan-Bissaka or Aarons, they need to start making moves in the transfer market. At this rate, they’ll be left with United’s second option at best.
