Report: Michy Batshuayi agrees terms with Premier League club

Sky Sports are reporting that Michy Batshuayi has agreed terms with Crystal Palace over a loan move to Selhurst Park.

The Chelsea striker has had his loan deal at Spanish club Valencia cancelled in order for him to make the switch.

According to reports earlier today, the Belgian striker was offered to Tottenham Hotspur but Mauricio Pochettino’s side rejected the opportunity to take him to North London.

The Mirror claimed that Chelsea were demanding an eye-watering £8million for him to move to Spurs until the end of the season, compared to the £2million which West Ham and Real Betis would have had to have paid.

Batshuayi’s future appears to be bleak with the club keen to move him on and he now looks as if he will be staying in London.

It looks as if Tottenham will be ending their second successive transfer window without signing any new players. It has now been 365 days since Spurs last signed a player, when Lucas Moura joined from PSG.
