Report reveals how Antonio Conte has lifted standards among Spurs staff

The Athletic have revealed that Antonio Conte and his team have lifted the standards of the staff at Tottenham Hotspur with the dedication they have exhibited.

Over the past few days, reports have discussed how the Tottenham players have been left extremely impressed by Conte’s training sessions and his man-management.

The Athletic have now backed that up, claiming that there is a view that the players have got more out of Conte’s first week than Nuno Espirito Santo’s four months in charge.

However, they reveal it is not just the players but also the staff at Hotspur Way who have taken to Conte and his team.

Conte and his coaches have allegedly surprised the Tottenham staff with how respectful and friendly they have been in their first week at the club.

It is explained they have shown a keenness to work with the pre-existing Spurs employees in different departments, making a point of saying hello to everyone and shaking their hands in the morning.

Conte’s arrival is said to have lifted the standards among the employees at the club, with the Spurs staff keen to match the Italian’s dedication and diligence.

The report describes Conte and his team as ‘very intense and professional’ and it is said that everyone from the analysts to the sports scientists want to impress them.

By the sounds of it, it appears like Conte’s arrival has lifted the whole club. A lift was certainly needed given how bad things appeared to have got in the final few weeks under Nuno.

While it is always sad to see a manager sacked after just ten league games in charge, the fact that Levy and Paratici have pulled the plug so early instead of waiting for a couple more months means that we now have a realistic chance of finishing in the top four.
