Report: Spurs agree £25m plus player deal to land long-term target

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a transfer fee with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon, according to reports.

Sky Sports News claim that the initial deal is for £25million with an additional £5million of bonuses and will also see midfielder Josh Onomah move to Craven Cottage.

The 19-year-old has been a long term target for the North London side and has under twelve months to run on his contract at the Championship side.

Sessegnon initially struggled during the opening few months of last season upon Fulham’s return to the Premier League but did go on to make 35 appearances where he provided six assists and scored two goals.

Onomah has found himself out of Tottenham’s pre-season plans having failed to be included in the trip to the Far East or during the recent Audi Cup success in Germany.

Sessegnon’s ability to play anywhere on the left side of the pitch will be a huge appeal for Mauricio Pochettino.
