Report: Spurs ready to offload defender before his value drops and it isn’t Rose

Tottenham Hotspur will listen to offers for Kieran Trippier this summer before the 28-year-old’s resale value dips, according to The Mail.

The report claims that the money raised from the potential sale from the former Burnley right-back will be used to re-invest into other areas of the team whilst also increasing the contracts of their star players.

Trippier has suffered a difficult season in North London with the player himself having admitted that his form has been affected due to a long-standing groin problem which has seen him find it difficult to get the time to rehab the issue due to how frequent Spurs were playing last season (Football.London)

Serie A giants Napoli and Juventus have both been linked with a potential approach to take the England international to Italy where he can look to rebuild his career (talkSPORT).

His form issues also saw him dropped from Gareth Southgate’s national team squad for the Nations League finals against Holland and Switzerland.
