Report: Spurs target decides to take time to weigh up offer

Tottenham Hotspur are said to have had Andreas Skov Olsen on their transfer radar during the current window.

The Mirror reported last month that Mauricio Pochettino’s side were monitoring the progress of the Danish Under-21 international after the 19-year-old had scored 26 goals in 44 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland in all competitions last season (transfermarkt).

The winger is said to been the subject of an approach from Bologna but has asked for a few days to get back to the Serie A side with a decison (Tuttomercatoweb).

His delay could potentially give other clubs the opportunity to try and intervene.

Skov Olsen is into the last year of his contract at Nordsjaelland, who must consider selling him for around £15million during the current window or risk him leaving on a free transfer this time next year.

Opinion

Whilst a move from the Danish SuperLiga to Italy would be a step up for the Danish Under-21 international, it would not be in the same bracket as joining a club such as Tottenham Hotspur.
