Report: Spurs would have to stump up £18m to land rumoured target

Inter Milan are reported to have placed a £18million transfer valuation on the head of Matias Vecino.

The Uruguayan midfielder found himself starting each of Inter’s last four Serie A matches before the coronavirus pandemic saw the campaign suspended (transfermarkt).

Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport claimthat the San Siro outfit are ready to cash in on the 28-year-old in the summer.

The report suggests that both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are keen on bringing the player to the Premier League.

Inter are said to be unwilling to accept any bids lower than their valuation of the player who was the subject of a reported failed loan approach from Manchester United in January

Vecino typically operates as a central midfielder but has also played in a more attacking role at times.

He started his professional career at Central Espanol and Nacional in his homeland before making the switch to Italy in 2013 when he signed for Fiorentina (transfermarkt).
