Report: West Ham prepared to listen to offers for Spurs-linked player

West Ham United are reported to be ready to listen to offers of £45million for central defender Issa Diop this summer with two un-named Premier League clubs interested in his services, according to Sky Sports.

The Hammers are said to need to raise funds for new transfer targets and have dropped his valuation from £75million when he was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer.

Diop earns £50,000-a-week at the London Stadium which is half what some of his team-mates a the Premier League strugglers take home.

Foot Mercato claimed in May that Diop was Tottenham’s primary transfer target to replace Jan Vertonghen with the 23-year-old keen to make the move across London.

Tottenham are yet to sign a replacement for Vertonghen but did gain another central defender last season when Eric Dier decided to drop back into the heart of the defence instead of operating as a holding midfielder.
