Former Blackburn Rovers and Wales midfielder Robbie Savage has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Everton.
Spurs return to Merseyside for the second time in the space of a week when they face the struggling Toffees at Goodison Park.
While Tottenham’s poor start to the new campaign has been well documented, Everton are just two points from the relegation zone.
Mauricio Pochettino will be forced into at least one change from the side which lost to Liverpool with Danny Rose serving a one-match suspension following his fifth booking of the season which could mean Ben Davies filling the void at left-back.
Last season, Spurs produced only of their most clinical displays in this fixture with a 6-2 victory which moved them to within two points of Manchester City at the top of the table.
Savage believes that Tottenham’s miserable start to the season will continue with Marco Silva’s side inflicting yet another defeat on the North Londoners.
In his column for The Mirror, Savage’s prediction is listed as: “Everton 2-1 Tottenham.”
