Rumoured Spurs target ‘likes’ Twitter post confirming his desire to move to North London

Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has ‘liked’ a post on his Twitter account regarding a report over his rumoured move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Hojbjerg was stripped of the Southampton captaincy after making it clear that he would not extend his deal with them and the 24-year-old has lost his regular place in the team since the Premier League’s restart from shutdown (BBC).

The Evening Standard claim that the former Bayern Munich player wants to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Spurs are said to be potentially Kyle Walker-Peters, who has been on loan at Southampton Kyle Walker-Peters, who has been on loan at Southampton since January and has impressed during his time on the south coast.

Hojbjerg liked a post from SPORT1 journalist Florian Plettenberg which claimed that he had heard that Spurs is the club which the midfielder wants to join this summer..

Everton have also been heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old, but it appears that his heart his set on a move to North London.
