JERMAINE PENNANT who was rumoured to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur is set to join Real Zaragoza.
The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer, following his release by Liverpool and was mentioned about a possible switch to White Hart Lane.
Pennant has passed a medical at the newly-promoted Spanish side and is set to sign a three-year deal.
He told Zaragoza’s official website: “I wanted to come to Spain and I had offers from important teams in Europe but joined Real Zaragoza.
“I really want to get started and do well in the league.”
