“Shocking from Jose” – Some Spurs fans vent their frustration at Mourinho

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted with frustration towards Jose Mourinho’s substitution choices during the 3-1 defeat at Bayern Munich.

After leaving the likes of Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen back in London, the Portuguese named the highly rated academy pair of Japhet Tanganga and Troy Parrott on the bench.

Despite a number of below par performances in the Spurs ranks, notably from Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Christian Eriksen. Mourinho instead decided to leave Parrott and Tanganga on the sidelines and unfortunately did not get a taste of the action.

After 81 minutes, Mourinho decided to replace the lethargic Dier with squad player Victor Wanyama when some supporters were hoping that the head coach would have thrown on Parrott.

Despite pulling level in the first half, Spurs looked second best to the German giants, especially in the second half and rarely threatened to add to their tally.
