Sky pundit picks just two Arsenal players in his combined North London derby side

Sky Sports pundit Danny Mills has selected his combined North London derby starting eleven ahead of Sunday’s match at the Emirates.

The former Leeds United defender has picked just two Arsenal players in his side, with Dani Caballos and Nicolas Pepe making the cut.

Interestingly, Mills decided to pick Jan Vertonghen ahead of Davinson Sanchez to partner Toby Alderweireld.

There is also no place in the eleven for Tanguy Ndombele, Lucas Moura or Moussa Sissoko.

Mauricio Pochettino is yet to play Vertonghen this season, with the Belgian having been an unused substitute in the last two top flight matches.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham go into the match on the back of defeats at the weekend, which is hardly the best preparation for the biggest game of the season.

Spurs fans will be hoping to see that there is more of a creative flair to the side that takes to the field at the Emirates after they failed miserably to break down Newcastle on Sunday.
