Some Spurs players past and present pay tribute to Kobe Bryant

Some Tottenham Hotspur players both from the past and present have taken to social media to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant.

The 41-year-old was travelling with four other people on Sunday morning, including his 13-year-old daughter in his private helicopter when it crashed, killing everyone on board in Calabasas, California (CNN).

Bryant is widely considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time — making 18 All-Star teams during his 20 year career with the Lakers. He was a first-round pick in the 1996 draft, winning 5 NBA championships, 2 NBA Finals MVPs and he was the league MVP in ’08.

He met with members of the Tottenham Hotspur side following their 4-1 win against Liverpool at Wembley in October 2017 when Hary Kane presented Bryant with a shirt featuring his name on the number ’24’ which he famously wore for the Lakers (Standard).

Bryant also posed for photos with the Spurs squad and was also spotted to talking to Mauricio Pochettino and his backroom staff.
