Tottenham Hotspur have announced their 25 man squad for the Premier League.

Each club must have a squad containing no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the home-grown player criteria with the remainder – up to a total of 25 – must be home-grown.

A home-grown player means one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

Players under the age of 21 (for the 2011/12 campaign those born on or after January 1, 1990) are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players.

(*Squad lists do not include registered under-21 players as information is not yet available)

Tottenham: Friedel, Gomes, Cudicini, Assou-Ekotto, Dawson, Gallas, King, Kaboul, Bassong, Corluka, Lennon, Livermore, Huddlestone, Modric, Kranjcar, Bale, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe, Van Der Vaart, Sandro, Adebayor, Pienaar, Dos Santos, Alnwick, Parker.

  1. Alnwick? Do you think harry will have 3 keepers on the bench?? Only an idiot would have 2 keepers on the bench and hes already done that

  2. Livermore still qualifies as under 21 rule I think so that would leave 1 spot still free wouldn’t put it past redknap signing beckam when his contract expires

  3. Alnwick is in there because we only have 24 other senior players. Come January he will not be on the next list, but for now, there is no harm in having him use a squad place that is completely free.

  4. Walker, Rose, and Falque all are considered under 21 by the premier league. (Birthdays after 01.01.90). Thus, they don't need to be named in the 25 man squad.

  5. Theres a new ruling coming in that two goalkeepers will be allowed in goal at the same time, therefore makes sence to put 4 on the bench in case they cancel each other out going for the same save.

  6. Cant understand derogatory remarks about Corluka, he has his limitations but uses experience a lot, a good cover for Kyle Walker. I think Levy will go back in January for Cahill hoping to save money as usual, the big two have bought and settled them in pre season.

  7. Surprised at remarks re Corluka has his faults but uses his experience a lot, a good cover for Kyle Walker, I think Levy will go back in Jan for Cahill to save money, to late. I think there will be a top 2 you look at City and Utd they bought in close season and bedded them in

  8. Lay off Corluka he has his faults but consistantly uses his experience, ideal as cover for Kyle Walker,I think Levy will go back in Jan for Cahill, too late trying to get him on the cheap don't work the big 2 bought pre season and bedded them in
