Tottenham fans were quick to take to Twitter to express their anger and frustration after their side threw away a two goal lead to West Ham United.
At half time, it looked as if Spurs were going to cruise into the next round of the League Cup, only for what can be described as an absolutely pathetic 45 minute ‘display’ which saw West Ham come from two goals down to win 3-2 at Wembley.
The game should have been dead and buried, but simple defensive mistakes along with an inability to create anything in the final third made the blood of most Spurs fans boil.
An embarrassing and pathetic second half, West Ham put us to shame. There’ll be no Carabao Cup for Tottenham this season.
