Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on social media to Paulo Gazzaniga’s performance against Crystal Palace.
The former Southampton keeper was making his debut for Spurs after injuries to Hugo Lloris (groin) and Michel Vorm ruled them out of the Premier League encounter at Wembley.
Tottenham came out 1-0 winners of the match courtesy of a Heung-min Son strike, but it could have been much different if it weren’t for the heroics of Gazzaniga who saved his side on more than one occasion between the posts.
Before the match, it was a case of ‘Gazzaniga who?’ among some pockets of supporters and he did come in for some early negative comments for his challenge in the first couple of minutes, but following that piece of play he looked more than comfortable.
