The name of Ruud van Nistelrooy has once again been linked with Tottenham Hotspur as doubts persist aver Roman Pavlyuchenko’s future at the club.
Pavlyuchenko is unhappy with the amount of first team football he has had so far and Russia coach, Guus Hiddink, has also voiced his concerns on the matter.
Redknapp was linked with a bid for Van Nistelrooy in the summer, but with doubts over his fitness after injury, a deal failed to materialise.
But with the Dutchman back to fitness again, a move could be back on the cards in January.
Nistelrooy’s £100,000 wages were also a problem, but he has opened the door for a possible move in January.
He said, “In January I can negotiate, see what comes and what the club does. It’s a matter of playing and getting my form back.
“I’m fully fit now, healthy physically and mentally.”
