Spurs to raid West Ham for playmaker?

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is monitoring West Ham’s 24-year-old Argentine playmaker Manuel Lanzini.

The Daily Mirror today report that Pochettino has been an admirer of his compatriot since he scored in West Ham’s victory over Spurs a couple of seasons ago at the London Stadium.

I’d be highly surprised if West Ham were willing to do business with us, although they have acted as a feeder club for us in the past.

Lanzini currently has three years to run on his existing £35,000-a-week contract after joining the Hammers originally on a loan deal from Al Jazira in 2014, before going on to complete a permanent transfer for £9.4million.

He has scored one Premier League goal this season in six appearances.
