If one Spurs rumour is true, please let it be this

We all know that the January transfer window can mean a lot of bullsh*t printed in both the newspapers and online media outlets surrounding Tottenham.

However, if one rumour is to be true to January, we really hope it’s this one. According to the Daily Mirror, Tottenham are prepared to listen to offers for Moussa Sissoko.

The £30m signing has been nothing short of a disaster in his 18 months at the club, following his transfer from Newcastle United. I still find it absolutely staggering how he manages to find himself regularly featuring in Mauricio Pochettino’s matchday squad.

Take the draw against West Ham on Thursday night for example, why Pochettino waited until the 74th minute to take Sissoko off absolutely staggers me. Most fans were calling for the Frenchman to be taken off at half-time following an absolutely diabolical first half.

Fingers crossed this rumour is true and we can ship him off.  I’d be more than happy take £8m from a Turkish club to be rid of him – there has been absolutely no consistency across 57 appearances for Spurs.

Would you like to see Spurs sell Sissoko in January?  Have your say below

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. why the f*ck does Pich play with 10 men … thats what it looks like when Sissoko is on the field … one ofvif not the worst signing in the history of the club ….

  2. ITS EMBARASSING FOR FOOTBALL FOR SISSOKO TO B A CALLED A FOOTBALLER! WORST PLAYER TO EVER WEAR A SPURS SHIRT! Watch the players reaction to him says it all at Burnley away he had Erikson and alli to his right and Kane to his left he over hit a simple 5 yard pass to Kane after erikson and alli bust a gut to catch up with him and I looked at erikson and he couldn’t stop laughing…… ILL HAPPILY DRIVE HIM ANYWHERE!!! JOKE JOKE JOKE …… please f*^’ off out of our club u useless useless useless rubbish rubbish rubbish Two bob Waste of time!!!!!

  3. Totally agree with the comments above he spent more time passing back to his defenders rather than look to make that all telling pass.

  4. Sissoko………no first touch, or second and third for that matter. A totally consistent waste of space that disrupts every forward movement. Worst player I have seen in a Spurs shirt in all of the 50 years I have supported the team.

I don’t care if we never get a penny for him, just don’t let him play again in a Spurs shirt!

    He is costing us results!

  5. Don’t know why we bought him in the first place, and to pay 30 million for him was a joke, and the only one’s to find it funny was Newcastle. I think it was a sign of desperation on Daniel Levi’s part, because we hadn’t made any signings, so let us hope it’s true.
