Spurs to turn their focus to £100,000-a-week plus deals for key players

Tottenham Hotspur are set to offer Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Dele all expected to be offered new contracts worth in excess of £100,000-a-week, according to The Telegraph.

On Friday, the club confirmed that Heung-min Son and Erik Lamela had penned contract extensions until 2023 and 2022 respectively. They both follow in the footsteps of Mauricio Pochettino, Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyle Walker-Peters in signing new deals since the end of last season.

Now Tottenham are set to focus on improved contracts for four of their key playing staff. Club captain Hugo Lloris is already one of the top earners at the club, with his current deal which ends in 2022 said to be worth around £110,000-a-week. Meanwhile, Vertonghen just has a twelve months to run on his contract, while Christian Eriksen’s expires in two years and Dele’s in 2022.

It would represent a huge boost to the club if Levy can tie all four down to new deals, but he still needs to allow Pochettino to bring in one or two new players who can make an impact to our team.
